Need For Speed Coming Out This Year…?

Need For Speed was one of the most loved and played games of the 2000s, just ask anyone born in the 90s.

And now there’s a hot talk that Need For Speed – the popular car racing game is all geared up with the latest graphics and visual effects to revive childhood memories.

According to the data gathered by GameBeat’s Jeff Grubb, Criterion Games, and Electronic Arts [Find out what hackers did to EA Games…] java joined hands to roll out the next Need For Speed. He stated that the game could be out by the fall of 2022.

Jeff Grubb who spoke in his GrubbSnax show’s latest episode stated that the game will release only for the current-gen gaming consoles, which include Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. The game won’t be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

“I suppose if you’re a Need For Speed fan who has brought a next-gen console, here’s some good news. It’s next-gen only. They are shifting to next-gen only for that,” Grubb said in a report.

He also talked about the rumors about the game’s settings. “It’s hard to pin down if there are for sure or not. I’ve heard stuff like Miami, which makes me think maybe they’ll go an underground route,” he added hinting about the Classic Miami map.

And there are some cold rumors for the PC gamers, that Need For Speed wouldn’t be available for PC [no PC version], which is difficult to digest. However, it hasn’t been confirmed yet.

If everything goes according to Criterion & Electronic Arts’ plans, the game would be rolling out by November 2022.

NFS was scheduled for 2021’s launch, but the company had to focus on Battlefield 2042, the 1st-person Tactical Shooter game due to its rising popularity. Now all you can do is eagerly await the launch of the latest NFS.
