The Future of Gaming finally revealed Sony’s brand new PlayStation – PlayStation 5 after a week-long delay. The virtual event also revealed a ton of awesome games for PlayStation 5.

Among those was the most successful of the GTA series – Grand Theft Auto 5. Its parent – Rockstar Games has enhanced everything good for the gamer to experience the best of Los Santos.


When is the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 for PlayStation 5?

GTA 5 for PS5 is preparing for a massive entrance, but you are gonna have to wait a bit longer. Rockstar Games in its PlayStation blog has announced that the game will be out for PS5 in the second half of 2021; that is almost eight years post its 1st launch.

The company has also announced a bonus, a new standalone Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online) will be available for free, exclusively for PlayStation 5.

But there’s a catch: it’ll be free only for the 1st three months. Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5 will be rolling out in between early July and late December 2021, only more ‘Expanded and Enhanced’.

GTA 5 for PS5 ‘Expanded and Enhanced’?

Rockstar Games has said that the latest version of Grand Theft Auto 5 will have a massive range of technical improvements, performance enhancements, and visual upgrades in order to be accurately compatible with the latest hardware and software to give the gamers a next-level experience of GTA.

The company has also confirmed that it has upgraded the GTA online with content exclusive only to the latest consoles and PC for their online community worldwide.

And for every PlayStation Plus member on PS4, the company will deposit GTA $1 million into their in-game Maze Bank account as an added incentive within 72 hrs of login every month until the launch of GTA Online on PlayStation 5.

The standalone version of GTA online for PS5 which is scheduled to launch in late 2021 will be absolutely free to download for 1st 3 months of its launch.

According to a report, Grand Theft Auto 5 is expected to be available for Xbox Series X but hasn’t been confirmed yet. Rockstar games is said to be already working on its future project GTA 6 but haven’t been confirmed anywhere yet.

Nooooo the PS5 pre-order is already sold out! It sold out so fast! like 2 hours. I can’t believe I missed it…
