Khaby Lame: Binance New Brand Ambassador…

Khaby Lame, you must be familiar with this name. He once was a factory worker, now the world’s most-followed social media influencer, surpassing Charli D’Amelio with 145 million followers.

Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange platform has now signed this Senegalese TikToker as its official brand ambassador to bust myths on the emerging crypto revolution, digital currencies, and Web3 – the next level of the internet.

Khaby Lame’s loved by his followers for videos that simplify the overly complicated “lifehacks,” where he does the same tasks in the most common and simplest ways without ushering a word. This silent sense of humor’s what shot Khaby Lame into the limelight.

Binance’s global vice president of marketing, James Rothwell stated that it was necessary to inform people of all the misinformation that’s floating out there about Web3.

“It was a perfect match to have Khaby Lame on board to help debunk some of the myths around this space. Khaby has become a cultural icon and one of the most entertaining creators globally. We love his charm and sense of humor, and think it will bring relevance and relatability as we scale Web3 adoption,” Rothwell said in a report.

Binance’s core intention of ranking in Khaby Lame is to guide the people from the false information about digital currencies and Web3 which is said to be the next evolutionary phase ahead for the internet.

Binance’s objective is to make people understand complex concepts in the simplest ways.

Lame stated that the goals of Binance are perfectly parallel to what he does – break down complex concepts into simple terms.

“I consider my followers as my family and I am always looking for new challenges and interesting content to share with them,” he added.

In 2020, he worked at a factory in Turin before the pandemic forced companies to lay off their workers, and Khaby Lame was one of them.

He started making videos and uploading them on social media when he had nothing else to do, and now the rest is history.
