Kanye West is Buying This Social Media Platform

Rapper and fashion designer Ye, formerly known as Kanye West is out to make a big deal with Parlement Technologies.

Parlement Technologies, the parent company of Parler and Ye (Kanye West) have made a deal to trade Parler (the social media platform called “uncancelable free speech platform” by its users). The agreement once officially signed will make Kanye West the sole proprietor of this platform.

However, the sum of the deal hasn’t been revealed yet. Once the agreement is forged with Ye (Kanye West), Parler’s parent Parlement Technologies has agreed to back technical support including access to its data center, private cloud services, and other necessary infrastructure.

The deal is expected to be sealed by the end of the year.

Ye (Kane West) was recently censored by Meta, locking him out of his Instagram account for posts that netizens condemned him as anti-semitic.

Ye after the censorship moved on to Twitter after a long time, “In a world where conversation opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves,” he said in a statement before being locked out of Twitter too.

Parler, whose headquarters is based in Nashville, was founded in 2018 by John Matze and Rebekah Mercer, the daughter of Breitbart founder and billionaire Robert Mercer.

This social media platform is considered an “uncancelable free speech platform” and a haven for conservatives, this has drawn fans of former President Donald Trump.

The App is back on the Google Play Store and Apple’s Store as its plug was pulled following the storming of the White House in the capital in January 2021 for its role in inciting violence.

“This proposed acquisition will assure Parler a future role in creating an uncancelable ecosystem where all voices are welcome,” the company said in a report.

According to Sensor Tower, Parler has slightly over 250,000 monthly active users on its iOS and Android apps.

However, in recent times, Ye (Kanye West) has had his partnership terminated with apparel retailer Gap Inc, and Adidas has paused its business deal with the rapper due to some undisclosed factors.
