Elon Musk; New Phone to Tackle Apple and Google?

Tech billionaire Elon Musk recently owned the blue bird – Twitter after a mega deal of a whopping $44 billion. Without further delay, he began implementing his ways of running the company; Initiating mass lay-offs, and granting “amnesty” for suspended accounts after an online poll.

“The people have spoken, Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” Elon Musk tweeted on Thursday which meant “the voice of the people, the voice of god.”

And now, with a recent tweet response to Liz Wheeler, he has spurred a big talk in the tech world.

What did Elon Musk say?

Twitter user Liz Wheeler, a podcaster and former OANN host, tweeted that if Apple and Google kick out Twitter from their App stores, Elon Musk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily ditch the biased snooping iPhone and Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy.

“I certainly hope it does not come to that, but yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone,” Elon Musk replied.

This was indeed an alert message to the tech giants.

However, this Twitter heat came after Yoel Roth, the former Twitter head of trust and safety had stated that the “social media giant could risk being expelled from Apple and Google’s app stores if Twitter Inc fails to adhere to guidelines.”

Apple and Google; the mammoths of the tech world demand app developers to pay 15 – 30% of commission on all in-app transactions. And Twitter is all prepared to roll out its new $8-paid blue tick feature. And since this will be an in-app purchase, Twitter will have to pay Apple and Google.
