Netflix Games Are Now Available For Your Devices

Netflix Games :

With rising subscribers and the massive success of its Squid Game, Netflix’s riding is holding strong as 2021 is coming to an end.

To keep its growing subscribers entertained, back in July 2021, the company had decided to jump into the world of games and had hired former Electronic Arts and Facebook executive Mike Verdu as the Vice President of its Game Development division to give out the best possible games to its subscribers.

Netflix games have been officially made available for android devices around the world on October 2, 2021.

The company had planned to launch its games by 2022 but delivered earlier than promised.

Netflix introduced its Netflix games with five exciting collections of games- Stranger Things: 1984 (Bonus XP), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue games), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Stranger Things 3: The Game (Bonus XP), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop).

The company stated that the games will be available to all its subscribers on Android and will soon be made available on iOS too.

“Just like our series, films, and specials, we want to design games for any level of play and every kind of player, whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong gamer. And we’re just getting started. We’re excited to continue improving our mobile gaming experience and adding to our entertainment offering in the months ahead,” said Mike Verdu, VP of Netflix’s Game Development.

The streaming company stated that the games will have no additional charges, no advertisement, and no in-app purchases. The subscriber can play the game hassle-free.

According to its official statement, the subscriber on an android smartphone can see a game tab, a dedicated games row on their Netflix App where the subscribers can choose any game to download or they can just select the games from the drop-down menu.

The company also stated that the Netflix games are made available in many languages, and can be set based on the user’s viewing choice. And Netflix subscribers will have the privilege to play games on more than one mobile device using the same account until the device limit isn’t touched.

Netflix games aren’t made available for Netflix’s kid’s profiles.
