LG Rollable Smartphone Will Mostly Have a Hefty Price Tag

LG Electronics, the South-Korean giant has already grabbed the attention of the tech-geeks with its super-smooth Rollable OLED TV RX. And now strong rumors are pointing at LG’s most formidable rollable smartphone – LG Rollable smartphone aka LG Slide will be rolling out in the first half of 2021.

A South-Korean rookie tipster Tron (@cozyplanes) has disclosed the tech-info of LG Rollable smartphone aka LG Slide in his Twitter account.

According to his reveal, the LG Rollable phone surely packs a punch both in its features and price tag. Hold on to your crocs because LG Slide could most possibly be priced at a whopping $2,259 (₹1,73,400 approx).

Way higher than the iPhone 12 Pro Max 256 GB that costs $1099 (₹1,39,000).

The leak has also given us a sneak-peak at how good the LG Rollable smartphone is. LG Slide’s side-rolling display that converts the smartphone into a tablet is the trump-card feature of the device.

It has a 7.4 – inch rollable display with screen dimensions of 2428x1080p resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9 when in phone mode. When in productivity mode, the device is awaited to have a video mode with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 2428x1366p resolution.

According to the leaks, the LG Rollable phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Chipset.

The device is equipped with a powerful 16 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage capacity.

This smartphone is said to be powered by a 4,200 mAh Lithium-ion battery.

The leak posted stated that the LG Rollable smartphone will officially be revealed in March 2021, and the launch might possibly be delayed for June, but it isn’t officially confirmed yet. This rollable smartphone is the second by the company under the LG Explorer Project. Beyond this, nothing much about the smartphone was revealed. We’ll just have to wait for its official announcement.

Whatever it is, this formidable smartphone by LG Electronics has a formidable price tag we need to watch out for when compared to other similar foldable smartphones that are available in the market.
